Famous Eiffel Tower came under a bomb threat when an anonymous caller phoned authorities in Paris and threatened that the Eiffel Tower will be blown up. Later, a suspicious package was found near a plaza beneath Eiffel Tower.
Tourists were shocked and panicked when authorities asked all of them to evacuate the area in and around Eiffel tower today. Everything is out of control though and nothing happened except security officials found a package. Details of package are yet to be disclosed, however, apparently threat has gone and Eiffel tower is safe.
Eiffel Tower is a famous landmark and tourist destination in Paris (France). It is one of the seven wonders of the world and a global tourist attraction.
