This week was the much awaited Yash Raj flick’s Lafangey Parindey which hit the theaters this Friday.

The movie is about One shot Nandu (Neil Nitin Mukesh) and Pinky (Deepika Padukone) who are by nature very different. Pinky is a very ambitious about her dance and Nandu believes in fighting for one shot. One incident changes their life for ever and both work on their dreams collectively.

The music is Ok, the story line was simple but weak. Deepika justifies her role very well where as Neil was sure sure slow One Shot! If you have free time and looking for a time pass then LP (Lafangey Pariendey) can be watched. I give a 2* for this shot.

What a power pack performance by all the stars of THE EXPENDABLES. Sylvester Stallone debut directorial flick hit the theaters along with LF. With actors like Jet Li, Jason Statham and Terry Crews this movie was a roff roff and full of dhamake dar punches.

This is a story of Vinela Island who is captured by few bad guys played by David Zayas and other felas who refuses to free the Island at any cost. There comes the army of our good boys with a strategy to give Independence to the people of Vinela.  5* for the action and a good work by Jet Li who is the shortest of all. If you are looking for a HI ENERGY WEEK end, do not miss this, they’re sure to make your eyes POP!

Recently seeing what mother nature has to offer us it brings a chill to see what mess we do with out mother Earth.

Mother Earth transform and build the beauty 4 billion years ago and we human sapience were born to live a life on her 2 hundred thousand years ago with no idea about technology, deforestation, pesticides or fertilization.

When wise humans were born we lived on what our mother offered us, but faster and faster the human’s started depending on the destruction of her beauty by cultivating lands in form of agriculture and harvesting for living.

The best resource do not exit like the Jordan lake is dried which once gave water to the city and flew across the river. Natural minerals are soon vanishing due to lack of water and energy, the trees produces to balance the life of earth.

Gaibo was the forest with tallest palm trees in the world, but slowly due to lack of water all the trees dried up landing in no man civilization there on. 40% of glaciers have become thinner in recent 10 years and the 8 of every mammal species fears existence.

Nigeria being the richest in oil is the poorest in economy and 1 billion people die due to hunger and lack of natural resources. Every day 3 billion hectare trees are chopped off to form a city and live a luxury life.

Scientist have predicted that, the earth has got 10% hotter than in 10 years and soon the ecological balance can be disrupted if we do not take any necessary measures and be pessimist.

The decrease rate in glaciers are resulting in increase rate of water level by 7 meters every year. Instead of drilling mother earth it’s time to look at the sky and be generous to her.

Costa Rica had to choose between building an army or preserve the forest and to my surprise Costa Rica has no army as they choose to preserve their natural beauty. NZ, Australia, Nigeria and India being the 1000th participant is working on global warming and preservation of natural life.

We have little time left to be pessimist if we do not act now than surely 2 billion people will strive for its existence by 2015. Wake up and be the change.

Let’s all gift earth what it truly deserve, coz simplicity is the best BEAUTY!

Here on I will try and do little but better things to save my planet and live long life. Additionally I am posting a movie link “HOME” which is an eye opener to all of us.

Mubarako Miya!!!

By Avisha Sharma

Yo finally Sree Ram of our Hyderabad is the INDIAN IDOL 5… yippee I am so happy for him, well Rakesh too was well deserved as he has given too many power packed performance but humara nawab aage nikal gaya with his charismatic voice and strong confidence.

Shree Ram is a Hyderabadi born with Telugu as his local language he is already a hit in Tollywood and has bags few awards for best playback male singer recently in MMA (Mirchi Music Awards south) in Chennai.

Here in Hyderabad all the stars and politician were rooting to make Ram as the idol. There were cut outs and banners all over Hyderabad for vote appeal. Karunya was an X Indian Idol 2 participant who could not make to the finals due to lack of votes from south. Time and day Ram developed huge fan following with his performance on every song and judges paying an standing ovation for him.

With strong contender like Rakesh it was not an easy ride for the city boy to take a giant leap in Hindi Industry and set his tunes for ever. But now he is unstoppable as Salim Merchant and Yash Chopra signing him for his first break in Bollywood.

Finally JAI SREE RAM :)

Azadiii!!!!!!!!

By Avisha Sharma

Ramzan Mubarak to all!!!!

India is known for its diversity and unity. It all started in Mahatma Gandhi’s era where all the emerging individual wanted to breathe free.

Soon we will celebrate     another year of our freedom.  Not to forget our    Jawans and all the fighters who live their lives and stayed a true Indian till the end.

Here in Hyderabad I visited few offices for some meeting and I was so happy to see the decorated tricolor flags and even people wearing the ethnic wear with the color combination.  I feel so proud when I go back to the Indian history and the struggle all the fighters did to free us and live Independently.  Truly all the fighters need a standing ovation for their spirits, believe in each other and the courage to take up the responsibility of free India.

I feel the luckiest to be a part of this country which is full of rich culture and traditions. Today I too was in tricolor ethnic wear and the feeling of these colors are so vibrant that it gave me an intense feeling of being a true Indian. I am excited to be at the Parade held in Parade grounds in Secunderabad on the 15th morning where in all the Jawans will salute the national flag and sing the anthem.

This morning we did the flag hosting and sung “Janna Ganna Manna” and “Vande Mataram” and distributed sweets to every body. There were flags flying high in every corner of my office and made a very cheerful moment all day long.

Thus I AM PROUD TO BE AN INDIAN.

JAI HIND.

We are warned!

The nature is reminding us again and again of its fury by its act in LEH (Srinagar, India).  It broke my heart seeing the beautiful city messed up with the cloud burst and gushing water pouring out all the homes.

Comments by Dr. Raj Baldev, Cosmo Theorist, on the tragedy of Leh, which he said , “ Leh tragedy of outbursts of clouds, might be one of the hitting results by a solar tsunami, which carries an unusual magnetic eruption from the Sun towards its satellites including the Earth, but its damage depends on the power of the eruption as well as its irregular direction.

It actually flung a large cloud of electrically charged particles in the Space and moved towards the Earth, however, its power was not so strong enough to tear off the natural protecting shield of the Earth, he added.

The explosion, called a coronal mass ejection, did move towards Earth, which then sent a “solar tsunami” racing 93 million miles across space, but the impact is different this time, it looks to have hit the mountains and its glaciers and also hit the clouds and tore them off.

Believe it or not, the Sun plays a big role in tragedies on the Earth, the flares of the Sun which occur regularly after 11 years and irregularly between 4 and 32 years, being the reaction of the hydrogen bombs that occur there regularly.

It is natural. If the flares from the Sun do not occur for about 450 years, and blocked for some reason, the entire Sun can explode. Sun is just a hydrogen power house which supplies power to all its satellites including the Earth.

It is the duty of the Govt. to see that the weak areas are given due attention and protection and wherever it lacks, the damaging results are experienced.

Recent irregular flare of the Sun, which left for the Earth on August 1, affects the weak areas and possibly it has made to hit the area of Leh, where at least 115 people are confirmed to have been dead and officially 412 injured in flash floods near Leh on Thursday night.

The cloudbursts hit Choglumsar area, 13 kilometers from Leh and 424 kilometers from Srinagar, it might be the part of the flare that has touched the Earth, it may further break base of some clouds to burst in Himalayan pocket.

The cloudbursts had hit Choglumsar area,13 kilometers from Leh and 424 kilometers from Srinagar.

There is also a bad news that 25 Army jawans in the area are missing after their posts and houses were washed away, Army sources said.

According to State Police Chief Kuldeep Khoda, the authorities have recovered 103 bodies so far and more than 370 are found to be injured. The number of missing cannot be ascertained as yet and may go still higher.

This is a warning by our universe and are we really ready to face another tragedy??? Why doesn’t the govt take measures to avoid such tragedies in near future and secure the life of people? Is the govt not answerable to us for such unprepared situation???

RIP : People who lost their lives and family in Leh.

Dabungg da Boss?

Bollywood heartthrob Salman Khan, who will step into the shoes of the Bigg Boss 4 host is all geared up to raise the standard or match the bench mark which the previous host have made.

FYI: Bigg Boss is the Indian version of popular British reality show Big Brother. It has celebrity contestants locked in a house under the surveillance of multiple cameras for a period of three months without any contact with the outside world.

“Shilpa Shetty and Amitabh Bachchan have done a great job in the past as the hosts of the show. I really respect them for that and I will try to match upto them,” Salman reported apparently.

“I will try to make the audience feel there is more fun outside the house than inside,” he added.

Even though there was news that Salman will return to the small screen with the second season of the game show Dus Ka Dum, the actor has changed his plan and will be seen in Bigg Boss 4 to be aired on Colors.

“I had the contract to do the first season of Dus Ka Dum. That contract is over now. If they want me to return for the second season, I would do that but right now there are no such talks, so I took this up.” When asked about the reason for this change, the actor said.

Also, the grapevine is rife that Salman’s Bigg Boss will be aired at the same time as Amitabh’s Kaun Banega Crorepati.

And he coolly says that he fears no competition as both personalities are different in their own way. Well well lets wait and watch who is the real JALWA!!!!

A total Rewind!

By Avisha Sharma,

Finally Ekta has done too much brain storming and released the much awaited movie “Once Upon a time in Mumbaai” with no extra”K” any where. Well the movie revolves round Sultan (Ajay Devgan) who rules the water of Bumbai the moment he arrives there he only desires to be rich, famous but not to dirty his Mehabooba (Mumbai city). As he desires for more and more he begins a new era for the common man where the govt and police decline to listen to their problem. There is always romance in a gangster’s life and so here comes the sober look Rehana (Kangna Ranut) who eventually is the biggest bollywood star of the 70′s and wants a man who loves her whole hearty. Sultan and Rehana fall in love and show off their romance in public too, on the other hand Shohib (Emraan Hashmi) and Mumtaz (Praachi Desai) are in love with their simple living. When Shohib meets Sultan to fulfill his dream of ruling Mumbai along with Sultan, the drama takes a whole new turn making us wonder if the era was all about back stabbing!

It was ideally said that the story revolves round Haji Mastan and Daud who started ruling Mumbai city in 70′s and the story ended with Haji’s death and Daud continuing to rule the city from abroad.

Well all stars to Ajay and Emraan to play strong roles and justifying the rumors.

Last week the Hyderabadi’s were warn by the traffic police not to step out from their homes due to heavy rain falls. Acknowledging that the announcements were made with public safety in mind, Hyderabadi youngsters believe not enough is being done to prevent flooding and traffic snafus. But who can stop people form this lovely monsoon where love is expressed in the most best way. The couples around necklace road were found sticking together and warming themselves with Bhutha, on the other hand the youngistan which got stuck in the jam grew  fussy about the flow and control of the traffic.

Raashi Pachisia, a Nift student says, “The problem is Hyderabad is not used to constant rains. Just a little rain can waterlog roads thanks to a bad drainage system. But instead of asking citizens to stay indoors, cops and the GHMC should work towards solving these problems. We cannot bring life to a halt because of a slight drizzle. Besides, Hyderabad doesn’t even receive a heavy downpour like Mumbai does. Every year it is the same story; makes one wonder where all our tax money goes.” Well said Raashi, where is the tax being invested any way?

Caught with the climate was my colleague, to him the best way to enjoy rains is to have Chai (hot tea) on the bundies. And I must say that the Bundiee Chai is lot more soothing then the coffees at any good coffee out lets. Well I personally feel that traffic jams and bad roads are always a part of monsoon, all you have to do is sit back and enjoy the blessings from GOD!!!

Being a Man!

By Avisha Sharma,

We all are very well know how a women is always conscious about being “the BABYLISIOUS” and giving OOMP to all the men.
But gals the men are being the trend setters by grooming themselves and spending lot more time at the saloon to be the FAIR & HANDSOME. Aye, you got me right these days the phrama companies are targeting the young dudes with their attractive products. More over the companies do not mind to shell a lotsa over their brand ambassadors like SRK for emami, sexy John for Garnier, Shaahid for Vasaline and many more.
Gals pull up your socks as the men are soon gonna change the trend and make you run for them.
